It's seldom and, often far between episodes, that one hears a client push for better, bolder work. Kerri Martin, the client behind the great MINI Cooper campaign for the US and then the multiple Cannes winning VW USA work has started a company - GOOSEBUMPS - whose mission is to help clients and advertisers do better work. She should know. She has signed off on some of the most awarded work the past 5 years.
Now she has sent an email around the creative community asking for inputs:
Hey there...
I'm
reaching out to my creative friends to give them a chance to rant about
client's general inability to give feedback that makes the work better,
not worse. Or...just the subject of 'creative feedback' in general.
Also, would love to hear success stories...what does your favorite
client do, how does your favorite client behave that makes your life as
a creative a happier place?
Any
thoughts you would like to share? All feedback is confidential and
will be used only to make the ad industry a better place on earth!
Ohh
yeah, this topic is coming up a lot as I work with client marketers
through my goosebumps! consulting practice, so there really is an
opportunity here to impact the biz!
Thanks much.
Kerri Martin

Hello there,
I am trying to reach Kerri Martin as we're doing a Global Nomad Salon on Green Transportation and would like to invite her as well.
I run JANERA.com | The Voice of Global Nomads. We take international affairs out of academic and activist circles making them attractive and accessible to a larger audience. We connect Global Nomads—international urban professionals, artists, journalists, entrepreneurs—both online and in-person through conversations about globalization seen from the human perspective.
We have held Global Nomad Salons on Modern-day Slavery with Peter Buffett and Benjamin Skinner, Global Capitalism with Jeffrey Sachs and Matthew Bishop, Global Religion, U.S. Hegemony, the Credit Crunch, and more. Our events are held in the U.S. and around the world—Istanbul, Rome and Curaçao, and we’re developing other locations.
In April we focus on the Environment and have chosen to talk about Transportation, a crucial issue for Global Nomad.
If you could forward my request to her, or if possible let me know how to reach her, that would be great.
Many thanks!
Janera
