About ten years ago, I wrote the first businessplan for a new kind of company. I hadn't really figured out everything, but I had a pretty good idea what this company wasn't going to be about. More importantly, I had an idea. Once I had the idea, everything fell into place. I became very animated and words and smaller ideas popped into my head. I wrote all of it down. Then I came up with a name for this company: StrawberryFrog. The following images are those ideas put down in a very rough scrap book. They helped form the foundation of what became StrawberryFrog. In our first new business meetings with some of the largest advertisers, such as the smart car, credit suisse, IKEA, this book served as our company presentation. It just shows you what an idea that is put down on paper can do. In your mind, the idea is but a dream. But when it's on paper for all to see, it takes on a very different form, and this form can be very inspiring. I dug it out today and I still really enjoy reading it. And thought you might like to see it too.
Wow! The scrapbook is indeed inspiring and heartening. Thanks for the insight into Strawberry Frog.

Hi Scott, thx 4 sharing. The book was a treat 2 peek @. It has such a playful & imaginative sense that really gives off a childlike energy. Makes me feel like the sky is the limit. The copy, combined w/ the reference & mood images weaves a nice book 4 the foundation of SF. Well done on getting it on paper & then bringing it to life 10 years later. Continued success. Peace

It's nice to see such a low tech approach in this age of slick pitch presentations. My favourite page is your first one where you talk about having a life.

Hi Scott,
It is very motivating to read the Strawberryfrog DNA. You make me hope for the High Jacks.
Thank you!

Thanks for posting. Very inspiring because it is so real and personal. Not excessively slick or housing an overly contrived sense of earnestness from an executive committee output at an agency head office.
Lessons from constructions companies, along with engineers and architects is one the modern multi-function agency can glean a lot from, but it's hard to get away from the lone genius paradigm.

Wonderful. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt, truthful, and sincere DNA of StrawberryFrog. Quite inspiring. As a start up agency of sorts I value the RX immensely. Need to reread it now...
