Throughoutout history, charasmatic people and credible organizations have sparked massive movements that have moved hundreds of millions of people to do many different things.

Today, learning from the past, and using new digital strategies, brands can spark popular movements among millions of people around the country and around the planet.

Brands can lead Cultural Movements. rands can spark Cultural Movements. And brands can curate Cultural Movements.

Using a mixture of marketing science and the power of popular movements, brands can create great movements in society that lead+inspire+impress people into doing things, into belonging.

Brands can also hijack movements. Brands put a flag and a face to a social movement. Brands can crystallize a movement. And brands can even sponsor a movement, as my friend Dion Hughes likes to chide.

Every investment has a purpose, every action has meaning, every person in your organization has focus, every person who comes in contact with your culture (ie people who don't even work for you belong and have meaning. Every piece of communications has cultural relevance.

Everything you do and say moves you forwad.
